The best way to start your journey is with a consult to address your specific needs and concerns. Choose from the following options.

• FREE 20-minute complimentary virtual consultation: this includes a preliminary intake, where the pup's social and medical history will be discussed along with your primary concerns. FREE

• $100 45-minute in-person consultation: along with the above preliminary intake and primary concerns addressed, the trainer will assess the general behavior of the dog, provide one relevant training tool, and begin an initial training demonstration with participation of the owner. Family/individuals who participate regularly in caring for the dog are encouraged to be present. $100

• $600 Separation Anxiety Package: An 8-week intensive program consisting of a variety of in-person and remote sessions, tailored to your individual dog's needs. Separation anxiety training includes departure practice, desensitization to departure triggers, audiovisual recordings of the dog, and can be done wholly remotely. Clients local to RI can be evaluated and visited in person as part of this package if requested.

• $600 Leash Reactivity Package: Trainer will provide six in-person, 45-minute intensive sessions that include direct training to the dog, as well as materials and instruction to owners/handlers both inside the dog's home and on a variety of walks in uncontrolled environments, as well as one 1-hour Sniffspot "field day." 

• $500 Puppy Starter Kit: Three in-person, 45-minute sessions at the dog's home including an overview of pup psychology, preventing bad habits, general advice on addressing housebreaking on a variety of surfaces, a menu of commands owners can choose going forward, jumping, barking, and socialization.

• Puppy Playgroup: I host similar size and energy level puppies and dogs for playgroups on a rotating basis by appointment. Contact for more info!

Outcomes for pups depends heavily on involvement and commitment from owners. The expectation is for homework to be followed, which always includes multiple training sessions being independently carried out by owners.

 

Trainer is available for follow up emails, texts, and calls for questions within reason during package duration- I would prefer that you reach out rather than wait for our next session!

 

Please read contracts carefully. Packages need to be completed within stated dates (i.e., four months from signing) and will expire if unused.

 

Cancellation/reschedule policy requires 24-hours advance notice. 

 

Training is an investment! The more you invest, the better the return.

 

Training should be fun! Dogs should be happy to see their trainers. 

 

Training tools used, provided, or suggested may include:

• Book recommendations 
• Gut and tooth-safe long lasting chew toys
• Prong collars with backup clips
• Permanent gates
• Veterinary or behaviorist involvement
• Safety muzzles (that still allow dogs to pant and drink water)
• Bells
• Specific leashes
